Privacy policy

General provisions

The journal processes personal and operational information needed to receive manuscripts, support editorial communication, conduct peer review, and prepare and publish scholarly materials.

The information received is used only to the extent necessary for the editorial process and the operation of the journal’s electronic platform.

Author information

When a manuscript is submitted, the editorial office may receive the author’s name, affiliation, email address, ORCID identifier, and other data needed to prepare the publication and contact the author.

After publication, information that forms part of the article’s bibliographic record is made openly available together with the published material.

Manuscript confidentiality

Unpublished manuscripts and accompanying materials are treated as confidential. Access is granted only to those involved in editorial and expert processing.

The content of an unpublished manuscript must not be used by editors or reviewers for personal purposes or disclosed to third parties outside the editorial process.

Reviewer data

Under double-blind peer review, information that would identify the reviewer to the author is not published or disclosed to the author as part of the standard review process.

Reviewers’ contact and professional details are used by the editorial office to organize expert evaluation and internal communication.

Medical and identifying data

Authors must exclude from the manuscript any information that could identify a patient or study participant unless disclosure is scientifically necessary and properly authorized.

When publishing clinical images, case descriptions, or other potentially identifying information, the author must comply with applicable informed-consent and confidentiality requirements.

Use of data

Personal information may be used for editorial correspondence, author identification, organizing peer review, preparing the publication, generating bibliographic metadata, and technical support of the journal.

Information sharing

Data are not shared with third parties for independent commercial use. Limited technical transfer may occur as needed for the publishing platform, registration of publication metadata, and the editorial process.

Technical data

The electronic platform may process standard technical data needed for stable and secure site operation, user authentication, session persistence, and analysis of technical errors.

Privacy inquiries

Questions about data processing in the editorial process may be sent to the journal’s editorial office using the contact details published on the website.
